Description
It's time once again to don gloves and hard hats and head out to intercept the garbage migrating from the Samoa Bridge into the Bay. This is a great way to directly improve the health of the Bay and get some exercise outdoors! This month is especially important as we will begin tallying how many plastic bags we collect on our adopt-a-highway stretch for 2012. On Saturday, we'll meet at the office, 217 E St., Old Town Eureka, at 9:30am, and then head off to the Samoa Bridge landings at 10:00am on Highway 255. Don't miss this great opportunity to get dirty in honor of Humboldt Bay. We provide gloves, trash bags, and the ever-popular orange safety vests. It's a good time! Call 268-8897 for more information.
