In honor of World Oceans Day, Humboldt Baykeeper and Surfrider Humboldt are hosting a reusable bag giveaway during the Farmers’ Market on Saturday June 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arcata Co-op, 811 I St.

Volunteers will be making bags out of donated t-shirts and screen printing the ‘Ban the Bag Humboldt’ logo. Stop by the information table to receive a bag or bring a shirt and receive the screen print for free. Call 707-268-8897 for more info.
